Match Preview: 3rd Match – Grenadines Divers vs Dark View Explorers
An exciting match is in store between the Divers and Explorers. Whoever lose, will more than likely find themselves bottom of the table which isn’t something that’s desired after just two games.
In The Spotlight
In all fairness to divers, they didn’t have such a bad first game. Scoring 114 is a commendable effort and your back will always be against the wall in a match reduced to 3 overs – the odds are with the batting team. In saying that, they have to put that behind them and look to bounce back. The bowling, which is usually their strength failed them, so they will be looking to bounce back strong in that department.
For the Explorers, they have the tag of tournament favourites but they have a chink in their armour in the bowling department and it failed them miserably in the first match. They will be looking to make that right, probably adding another specialist bowler and sitting one of their all rounder.
Conditions doesn’t look good for play, with lots of rain schedule to come throughout the day. However, in this part of the world, there is always the possibility that the weather can miss for a few hours!
The pitch is extremely flat, have on a sheen and is very conducive for playing shots. Expect a lot of runs to be scored.
